Block 5 Lot 3 is a very special property with a area of 950 sqm. Its elevation is about 6 meters above sea level. According to Philippine law no buildings may be built on a 20 meter wide strip along the sea. We have therefore decided to keep this land free for all residents of Meili Sea Town. We will build there a park for rest and recreation. During construction we will try to take all the wishes of the future users into consideration.
To date, the following is in planning and implementation:
A portion (about 50%) of rocky land is left in its natural form, but kept clean so that the geologically interesting rocks can be seen. On this part narrow paths, which may be used by the residents, will be built. But to preserve the nature it will not be allowed to leave this paths and to walk aside of them.
The other part of that parcel will be flattened in that way that it is easy passable by residents of each age (also wheelchair driver). A place for barbecue, benches, etc. will be provided. As stated above, we will try to take all the wishes of the future users into consideration.
For swimmers a staircase will be built to the sea. This staircase also serves as access for a later planned dock for boats.
